Today is our first ‘picnic’ style lunch and you won’t be disappointed!  As the Mercury starts rising we shall stop in the shade to give ourselves and the horses a rest. Passing farmsteads and millet fields today’s ride will take us across historic battelfields and you will see fields of peanuts grown as fodder for the animals. Along the dusty trails you may see camels, bluebull antelope, herds of valuable goats (referred to as mutton on the menu in India) and if you are very lucky a double ended snake with 2 heads (Yes they exist and no we don’t understand it either). Despite the hot weather this Horse Trek Holidays trek is not just about hacking & admiring the view. You will definitely be able to put these exceptional horses through their paces and can look forward to galloping through the countryside colliding head on with the heat of the day, as the breeze blows your  hair from your face. Wooded valleys, and dry uplands stretch high up the slopes, playing host to a variety of exotic plants and animals including acacia trees, monkeys and Nilgai (Blue Bulls). Keep your eyes open!
