If you have not heard of Rajasthan you will undoubtedly heard of it’s capital Jaipur AKA the ‘pink city’. This truly is India at it’s finest, bursting with new and exciting sights and smells. After all there is a reason Rajasthan’s nickname is the Land of the Kings. Castles, forts and historic cities are but a few of the reasons to visit this astounding place. Rajasthan is a popular destination for travellers and holiday makers alike due to it’s abundance of culture, interesting history, beautiful sights and friendly welcoming locals. Not to mention for those of an equestrian persuasion the fantastic riding. With a fantastic mixture of open fields, sand dunes in the desert, forests, open fields and local villages you will return home with some fantastic memories, guaranteed.

India is a truly amazing country from it’s long and interesting history to it’s stunning architecture to it’s gorgeous locals. Not only is the horse riding here astounding and the indigenous Marwari horses incredible but it is also India’s friendly generous people who make it such a joy to visit this country time and time again!

The diverse mixture of cultures and religions here in India make it an extremely interesting country and you will be amazed at the vast number of languages spoken in each of the different states. Approximately 80% of Indians are Hindu although you will also find a large mix of other religions such as Islam, Sikhism and Christianity. There are 22 major languages in India, written in 13 different scripts, with over 720 dialects, although most people speak very good English so you will be able to get along just fine with knowing much more than ‘Namaste’.

Another great thing about India is of course the food! You certainly won’t go hungry on our tours – creamy coconutty malai koftas, delicious samosas, steaming momos and tasty masala chai. There really is something for everyone (even if you’re not a fan of all things spice, there will almost always be a Western option available instead).
